As noted on first boot, the graphic interface (gui)
is Xorg, and is configured with the /etc/X11/xorg.conf
file. A system-compatible copy of this was generated
on first boot.

If you change your video card or monitor this configuration
will probably not work. (The base system will, but after you
type "startx", you may not be happy with the results.)

If this happens, instead of typing "startx" to start the gui,
type in "absx" -- this will run a utility to generate a new,
more appropriate xorg.conf file.

Screen resolution and refresh rate:

If you are unhappy with your screen size or refresh rate, run the
SYSTEM TOOLS > SET SCREEN SIZE
utility. If you want the changes it makes to become permanent,
run the utility as root and save the changes.

If you DO NOT like the results, you can copy the ORIGINAL
xorg.conf file (the one generated on first boot) by:

> editing the xorg.conf file (as root):
	open /etc/X11/xorg.conf
remove the line starting with "Modeline" in the Monitor section
remove the line starting with "Modes" in the Screen section
	save

> in the GUI(as root):
	open /etc/X11
(make a backup copy if nervous)
right click and choose delete for the xorg.conf file
	right click on xorg.conf.orig
	choose "copy"
	name the copy xorg.conf

> from the command line(as root):
	cp -f /etc/X11/xorg.conf.orig /etc/X11/xorg.conf
