As you likely already know, you should not routinely run your system
while logged in as "root". With Absolute we do so to run configurations
and to install and uninstall software. Other than that, you should log
in as a user.

To create a user account, go to:
MENU > SYSTEM TOOLS > CONFIGURATION > create a new user

The little utility does quite a bit of voodoo which you can
do manually, if you are ever so inclined -- but suffice to say,
you just enter the name you want a user to have,, like "John",
"Mary", whatever -- then type the password for the account twice.

If you did not mistype the password then the new account will have
been created. To login as the new user you must do 3 things.

1.) log out of X (the GUI)
MENU > LOGOUT > (then click OK)

2.) Log off the system
In the console (black screen with text) type:
"logout" - no quotes, and click the enter key.

3.) Login as the new user
type the user name (click enter key)
type the user pasword (click the enter key)

4.) OPTIONAL?
	Type startx (click enter key)
